| 2007年シーズンレース参戦発表（2007/3/29 更新） |
|
■International Formula Masters ユーロノバレーシング
FIA公認国際格式レースである「International Formula Masters」にユーロノバレーシングより参戦します。
F3,F3000などのミドルカテゴリーとF1の間に位置するカテゴリーとしては現在GP2などがありますが、同格式のレースである国際フォーミュラーマスターズ選手権は今年から始まり、ヨーロッパを中心に8カ国を転戦します。
エンジンは２０００ｃｃのヘイニーマーダー製レーシングエンジンを使用。
タイヤは横浜タイヤのワンメイク。
ギアは6速パドルシフトで、最高速約３００キロのマシンです。
すでに36台のエントリーが決定しており、世界で最も参戦台数の多い熱いレースになることが予想され、今からドキドキです。
一昨年ユーロF3000のテストをさせていただいき、その後もイギリス国際F3シリーズに応援に来ていただいたチームオーナーである元F1ドライバーのビンチェンツォ・ソスピリ氏率いるユーロノバレーシングと共にシーズンを戦えることをほんとうに嬉しく思っております。
エンジンも開幕戦からは投入されませんが、ハイブリッドレーシングエンジンをシーズン中盤より投入予定で、シャーシー、エンジン、パドルシフト共に最先端のマシンに乗れることはほんとうに楽しみです。
この参戦には、ほんとうにたくさんの方々の協力があり実現できたことを思うと、応援してくださった皆さんにはほんとうに感謝しております。今後も日々精進してまいりますので、どうぞ応援よろしくお願いします！

■２００６年英国国際F3シリーズにフル参戦

１９９９年にレースクィーンからレーサーに転向し、国内、海外でレース経験を積んできた女性レーシングドライバー井原慶子（いはらけいこ）が、２年目の英国国際F3（フォーミュラー３）【Ａクラス】シリーズに、英国カーリン・モータースポーツからフル参戦することが決定しました。
周知のとおり、英国国際Ｆ３は「Ｆ１への登竜門」とも言われ、Ｆ１でドライバーのピケ、セナ,ハッキネン等、超有名選手を多数輩出し、最近では佐藤琢磨選手も英国Ｆ３で大活躍した結果、Ｆ１へステップアップしたことは有名な話です。
今回井原慶子の英国Ｆ３参戦にあたり、株式会社エスグラントコーポレーションのスポンサードによって、２年目の英国Ｆ３シリーズ参戦を実現させることができました。

Carlin Motorsport confirms Keiko Ihara
Aldershot (UK) 2 February 2006. Carlin Motorsport are
pleased to confirm that Japanese female racer Keiko Ihara
has signed with the team for a second season.
Keiko Ihara has been with Carlin since 2005 and she
is the fourth F3 driver to sign with the team for the 2006
season. Ihara will line up alongside Christian Bakkerud,
Oliver Jarvis and B-class driver Ricardo Teixeira this coming
season.
Trevor Carlin, Carlin Motorsport Managing Director,
comments on the signing from the team’s new premises in
Aldershot, “The team is delighted that Keiko will remain
as a part of the driver line up for another season. Keiko
showed great determination and dedication last year and
I am positive she will do us proud in her second year as
a British F3 driver.”
Carlin Director and co-owner Martin Stone was equally
positive and added to Trevor’s remarks ? “Our testing resumes
on February 15 and 16 at Pembrey circuit and after that
we have a busy programme up until the season starts in April
when our schedule gets even busier! Testing should be a
good time for Keiko to measure herself against her team
mates and the other boys in F3. As a team we will do everything
we can to help her improve her results and we will hopefully
see her in the top ten on a regular basis this season.”
Commenting on the confirmation of her second season
at Carlin Motorsport, Keiko Ihara said from Japan, “I’m
really looking forward to starting the 2006 season. I have
been working hard together with my management team to find
very good sponsors to enable me to continue with Carlin
Motorsport. It will be the first time for me to stay in
the same category and with the same team and I think it
will make a big difference in my development as a racing
driver. I am in the best possible seat now to improve this
year and I will work hard towards achieving good results.
I knew before I started last year that it wasn’t going to
be easy, but I feel that when I arrive in the UK this year
I will be much better prepared for the challenges ahead.”
